Mulberry Harvest Experience

 

Mulberry tree planting is one of the activities we proudly organize at a local school, where our guests, associates, teachers, and students come together to nurture the environment through this meaningful initiative.

 

During harvest season, guests are welcome to hand-pick fresh mulberries from our Organic Garden, enjoying their natural sweetness straight from the tree. These berries are then transformed into our signature homemade mulberry jam, served with freshly baked bread by our Bakery team, a true farm-to-table experience. The jam is also available for purchase at the NEST in the lobby, open 24 hours.

As part of this activity, guests can also discover our layering technique for propagating mulberry trees. These young trees are later planted at local schools, where guests are encouraged to join our team in engaging with students and supporting the community. This hands-on experience captures the joy of sustainable gardening, farm-to-table dining, and meaningful community engagement, reflecting our ongoing commitment to sustainability, education, and giving back.

The “Layering – Tree Propagation” activity is one of our ongoing initiatives, reflecting our commitment to environmental education. It is held on special occasions such as Earth Day and our resort anniversary, offering guests and associates the opportunity to learn about sustainable gardening practices while fostering a sense of community. Once the branches develop new roots, they are donated to the local community, further extending the impact of our efforts.

In addition, we use organic fertilizer produced through composting leftover food from our restaurants, showcasing our dedication to sustainability and responsible tourism. This practice not only enriches the local ecosystem but also engages the community in meaningful ways.

In addition to our hands-on garden activities, we are delighted to offer immersive cultural and natural experiences such as the Plai Lam Temple Tour and guided Nature Walks.
