Mindful Choice, Meaningful Impact
A story of our cage-free eggs programme
At Garrya Bianti Yogyakarta, we are committed to practicing eco-conscious hospitality where every choice reflects care for people and the planet. One of our key initiatives is using 100% cage-free eggs, sourced from our fostered women farmer groups, Rejo Arum and Jaya Mandiri Abadi, in nearby villages. We collaborated with Global Food Partners and Animal Science Development Center, Faculty of Animal Science, Gajah Mada University.
These eggs come from hens raised freely in open spaces. It is an approach that’s kinder to animals, gentler on the environment, and healthier for you. By choosing cage-free eggs, we not only support local communities but also take a mindful step toward a more sustainable future. Every dish we serve is a reflection of this harmony between nature, nourishment, and wellbeing.
